Located just off of Highway 12 (6th Ave) in the Southeast section of Aberdeen, SD the Dakota Event Center is comprised of four buildings with enclosed direct access walkways to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, the Hampton Inn & Suites, and Maverick’s Steak and Cocktails. The DEC is the largest convention facility in Aberdeen, SD. With six separate rooms that can be expanded into one great room, your possibilities are endless for planning your next event. The DEC complex partners with two of Aberdeen’s finest hotels featuring over 150 deluxe non-smoking sleeping rooms and suites. Each hotel includes fitness rooms, business centers and pool areas, with the Holiday Inn Express showcasing a 150-foot waterslide in the water park. Room blocks are available for each hotel to accommodate all of your guests.
